Effective Date: Upon acceptance by the LEA
Parties: StudentDPA and the participating LEA
1. Purpose
This agreement authorizes StudentDPA to act on behalf of the LEA to facilitate outreach to educational technology vendors for the purpose of collecting accessibility documentation (e.g., VPATs) and initiating preliminary data privacy review processes.
2. LEA Authorization
- Authorizes StudentDPA to contact vendors and state that the LEA has requested accessibility and/or privacy documentation.
- Grants StudentDPA the right to list the LEA as a participating entity in outreach communications.
- Permits StudentDPA to display vendor-provided VPATs and other compliance documentation to authorized LEA users within the platform.
3. Limitations
- This agreement does not authorize StudentDPA to review, redline, or execute Data Privacy Agreements on the LEA's behalf.
- No payment is required under these terms, and no legal services are being rendered.
- The LEA remains solely responsible for any final contracting decisions.
4. Privacy & Confidentiality
StudentDPA will handle all LEA- and vendor-submitted information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Any vendor responses shared through the platform are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice.
5. Termination
The LEA may withdraw from participation at any time by emailing support@studentdpa.com. Upon withdrawal, StudentDPA will cease any vendor outreach on behalf of the LEA.
6. No Warranties
StudentDPA makes no guarantees regarding vendor response rates, document accuracy, or regulatory compliance. The platform is provided “as-is” for informational and facilitative use.
